It's ok! Nobody outside your organization will know. Moreover, you get some powerful tools to help improve, including your Trust Index score as well as industry benchmarks. Organizations that have not certified have found the information invaluable for making improvements.
There are two levels. Most importantly, getting certified as a Great Place to Work means achieving high participation on the employee survey and a minimum employee Trust Index score. Once an organization is certified, best workplace lists are calculated and created from the database of organizations eligible for those specific lists.
Many organizations go through the certification process in one month or less.
