Activated Insights Announces 2021 Best of Home Care Award Winners

Home Care Pulse, the home care industry’s leading satisfaction research firm, has announced the winners of 2021 Best of Home Care Awards. These awards, including the Best of Home Care – Provider of Choice, Best of Home Care – Employer of Choice, and Best of Home Care – Leader in Excellence, are the most prestigious awards in the industry and recognize those who are going above and beyond to create an exceptional client and caregiver experience.

In a webinar on January 27^th, Erik Madsen, CEO of Activated Insights, announced the recipients, shared facts and statistics about this year’s winners, and interviewed three individuals who won the Leader in Excellence award.

Every year, the number of award winners Activated Insights sees continues to grow. Award winners this year included 694 Providers of Choice, 595 Employers of Choice, and 279 Leaders in Excellence.

There is also a small but growing elite group who have qualified for Leader in Excellence for five years or more. According to the awards webinar, thirteen agencies won Leader in Excellence for their fifth year in a row, six agencies won Leader in Excellence for the sixth year in a row, and five agencies won Leader in Excellence for the seventh year in a row, four agencies won Leader in Excellence for the eighth year in a row, and three agencies won Leader in Excellence for a record-breaking nine years in a row.

9-time award winners include Visiting Angels – Sterling Heights, MI, Visiting Angels – Auburn, NH, and Comfort Keepers – Haddonfield, NJ.

The panelist of Leader in Excellence award winners, Mitch Williams (Owner of Home Helpers, San Mateo, CA), Tim + Gina Murray (Founders/Owners of Aware Senior Care), and Guy Tommasi (Managing Director of LIFETIME Care at Home) discussed the steps they took to qualify for their awards, including investing in communication, placing heavy emphasis on the care team, and listening closely to client/caregiver feedback provided by Activated Insights in order to maintain a high standard of care.
