This course gives care professionals an understanding of the different symptoms and stages to expect in a client diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. You will learn practical tips for how to support clients with ADLs, including ways to help with medication, nutrition, and personal care. You will also learn how to ensure the safety of clients living with Parkinson’s disease and how to communicate and support them emotionally as they manage a difficult disease.
