This course covers a variety of types of abuse, including child abuse, elder abuse, domestic abuse and sexual abuse. The course is part of the HCI compliance library.

Compare the prevalence of abuse and neglect in three at-risk groups in the community (children, intimate partners, elders).
Identify at least three common signs and symptoms for each of five forms of abuse (physical, sexual, emotional, financial, neglect) in the senior population.
Recognize at least three factors that contribute to the risk for becoming a victim or perpetrator of abuse.
Determine at least two appropriate interventions in response to patients in immediate danger from abuse or neglect.
