Frequently Asked Questions

The road to Certification begins the moment you sign up. First, set up your survey date. Next, complete a culture brief. Then, we will survey your employees, and results are provided immediately upon the two–week survey completion.

To be considered for Certification, organizations must have 10 or more employees. Surveys meet strict requirements for distribution and response rates to ensure they accurately represent feedback from the company’s entire population.

To earn Great Place To Work Certification, the average score across your survey results must show that approximately 7 out of 10 of your employees are having a consistently positive experience at work.

The Great Place To Work survey measures trust in your organization and the consistency of the employee experience. It evaluates five dimensions of a high-trust company culture. Three dimensions relate to leadership actions and trust-building: credibility, respect, and fairness. The other two dimensions assess employees’ workplace experience concerning their colleagues and the organization: pride and a sense of belonging.

Surveys are sent to all employees via text message or email, ensuring a convenient and confidential method of feedback collection.

Employees answer 14 demographic questions, providing valuable insights into your workforce, and respond to 60 statements across a 5–point consistency scale, as well as two open-ended questions to assess their perception of the workplace.

From start to finish, the Certification process takes one month (maybe less in some situations!). Once you sign up, you pick a survey start date and we survey your employees over a two–week period. Immediately upon completion of your survey period, you will get your results.

It’s ok! Nobody outside your organization will know. With the survey process, you will receive powerful insights, including your Trust Index Score™ and industry benchmarks to help you improve.
