How to Sign Up
Please complete the following sign-up form. Note that the registration fee covers the costs of administering your resident and family survey.
Upon submitting the form, you will receive an email confirmation of signup. By the next business day, you will be introduced to your Program Manager. Experienced working with senior care providers, your Program Manager will guide your team through the survey process.
After your survey closes, you will receive your brand’s overall score and a discussion about your high-level survey findings. Once U.S. News releases its Best Senior Living lists, you will see which locations have made the list and your organization can request a “guidance call” about your data insights relative to others in the industry.

Independent evaluations from a trusted source can help families make better decisions and have a more positive experience.
What is U.S. News Best Senior Living?
U.S. News & World Report is preparing a Best Senior Living survey to help families choose among top senior living communities and care options in their area. Activated Insights is supporting U.S. News by working with providers to administer the survey to residents and families. Survey participation is required to be eligible for a potential Best Senior Living recognition.
U.S. News intends to recognize communities in the following categories:
- Assisted Living
- Independent Living
- Memory Care
- Life Plan/Continuing Care Retirement Communities
What is the timing?
The Best Senior Living survey period is now live and will close on 12/31/2021. U.S. News expects to publish a list of the Best Senior Living in Q1 2022.
Benefits to participating
Communities that earn recognition by U.S. News will benefit from high visibility, an independent quality assessment they can refer families to, and branding elements that can be used in consumer marketing. There are no downsides to participating in this inaugural survey.
